NAfro’s 2025 Season

The well anticipated event is the biannual Moving Inspirations Dance Festival (November 5–8, 2025) at the Gas Station Arts Centre. This dynamic festival brings together local and international artists for performances, masterclasses, and thought-provoking discussions. It’s an essential platform for emerging and established voices in dance, celebrating diversity, cross-cultural exchange, and artistic innovation.

A major highlight is the premiere of MBUNDA, an ambitious new work by Artistic Director Casimiro Nhussi. Inspired by the rich heritage of the African traditions, the piece weaves traditional African dance with contemporary movement, live drumming, and powerful storytelling. MBUNDA will premiere March 7-9, 2026, at the Gas Station Arts Center.
